Chocolate Strawberry Smoothie
Yield: 2 -16 oz smoothies
Prep time: a few minutes
Ingredients:
1 cup oat milk or any plant based "milk"
2 cups strawberries or any red berry
1 or 2 ripe banana (riper the better)
2 Tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder (Trader Joe's is a favorite)
1 Tbsp Chia seeds
1 Tbsp honey
2 scoops collagen (optional)
1 sprig of fresh mint
2 cups ice cubes
Instructions
Place all ingredients into the blender container in the order listed, make sure to secure the lid. Start the blender on the lowest speed, then quickly increase to its highest speed. Blend for 40 to 45 seconds or until super smooth.
Add more "milk" or ice until desired consistency is reached.
Garnish with chocolate chips and or berries.
Serve immediately.
